We’ve teamed up with River City Rhythm to give you exciting opportunities to stay sharp, keep performing, and level up your marching game. Whether you're looking to improve, compete, or just keep the rhythm alive, this is your chance to stay in step and keep the music moving—even when it’s freezing outside.

Winter Guard

RCR’s Winter Guards perform and compete in the North Star and Winter Guard International (WGI) circuits with shows and competitions from February – April. Their seasons culminates with a week of competitions at WGI World Championships, taking place in the greater Dayton, Ohio metro area.

RCR has three guards:

RCR IA - Competes locally and nationally

RCR IRA - Competes locally

RCR Minis - for youngsters up to age 12 which performs locally

Indoor drumline

RCR’s Indoor Drumline performs and competes in the Minnesota Percussion Association (MPA) and Winter Guard International (WGI) circuits with shows and competitions from February – April. Their season culminates with a week of competitions at WGI Championships, taking place in the greater Dayton, Ohio metro area.

RCR has two drumlines:

RCR Open - Competes locally and nationally

RCR A - Competes locally

Indoor Winds

Indoor winds is a new, exciting performance ensemble that brings the energy and precision of a marching band indoors! RCR Winds combines music, movement, and visual artistry in a setting that’s up close and personal with the audience. We welcome all woodwind and brass musicians. Whether you’re looking to push your musical skills, perform at the highest level, or be part of an electrifying team, RCR Winds offers an unforgettable performance experience.
